An offshore platform is limited to around 3,000 bbls/day of production, having constant pump pressure trips and downtime.
Injected Omni DRA-2008 at low concentration and increased treat rate over a two week period.
Platform saw immediate benefits and production steadily increased with lower backpressures - Net result of over 1,000 bbls/day of production and almost
all operation issues went away. Pumps running less and more efficiently with significantly increased flowrates.
Net gain over 30,000 bbls/month at ~ $50/bbl (not counting significant Natural Gas increases)
Now looking to open well heads that have been blocked to further increase production
Real, very easy to determine results that more than justify using the product
Crude oil production pipeline from shale play restricted to 8,000 bbls/day that decreases steadily. Shutting down monthly to pig out and clean pipeline.
Injected Omni DRA-2008 at a low concentration and steadily increased treat rate over a 3-day period.
Production company saw an increase to record production of 9,700 bbls/day and were able to maintain this rate with no significant decreases for 30
days. They then elected to stop injecting Omni DRA-2008 and saw decreased production back to around 800 bbls/day which declined to 6,600 bbls/day over
a one-month period. As a result they began injecting the Omni DRA-2008 again and rate climbed back to around 9,600 bbls/day. This continued for
4 months with steady production and they did not have to shutdown to pig out the line at all during this period.
The production company unfortunately fell...
